Final Saturday before the 2019 election
27 April 2019
Erewash Labour spent the final Saturday before polling day engaging with residents at several sessions across Long Eaton.
For the final push, we were joined by a series of guests from across the country to knock doors in Long Eaton Central, Nottingham Road and Sawley wards.
A team from Northamptonshire joined us for the afternoon, including the prospective parliamentary candidate for Corby, Beth Miller and the prospective parliamentary candidate for Kettering, Clare Pavitt. We were also joined by the Shadow Secretary of State for Housing, the Rt Hon John Healey MP, who came to support candidates our local candidates.
Our manifesto is being strongly supported by local residents, with our key pledges resonating with a majority of residents throughout the constituency.
We’ll be out tomorrow and every day until Thursday at canvassing and leafleting sessions across the constituency – please get in contact if you’d like to join!
