Erewash Labour candidates out on the doorstep in Hallam Fields

Erewash Labour activists joined candidates, Jo Ward and James Dawson, out on the doorsteps this afternoon in Hallam Fields.

We were really glad to be back on the doorsteps this afternoon in Hallam Fields ward, canvassing ahead of the local elections for our candidates, Jo Ward (Borough Council by-election in Hallam Fields), James Dawson (coubty Council in Ilkeston South division) and Hardyal Dhindsa (Police and Crime Commissioner).

James and Jo were joined by eight other activists, who promptly split into two teams, knocking in different parts of the ward, to remain in line with the ‘rule-of-six’ COVID safety law. We were all also in masks at all times, standing far back from the doors and regularly sanitising our hands between doorsteps.

We had lots of lovely conversations with residents, who were glad to see us back out in the community.
