Knocking doors and ringing phones this weekend
28 October 2019
Not to be deterred by the rain, Erewash Labour members were on the phones this weekend alongside our weekly door knocking.
We spent an afternoon on the digital doorstep on Saturday, discussing Labour policy with residents across Long Eaton. After the weather improved on Sunday, we got back out on the doorstep after an extra hour’s sleep for the clock switchover.
Residents in Kirk Hallam were glad as always to see a Labour presence in the area and to hear about what Labour will do for local people in government.
Lots of people reported a general disdain towards the ongoing nightmare of the Brexit process and concerns about the NHS, schools, policing and other issues that are vitally important to our society.
